# Installation

## 1. Prepare the resource

1. Stop the resource if it is already running.
2. Copy `five_scenes` into your server's resources directory.
3. Keep the resource's internal folder structure intact.
4. Review the configuration page before starting it.

## 2. Install dependencies

The resource manifest references:

* `ox_lib` — referenced by the resource manifest.
* `oxmysql` — referenced by the resource manifest.

Install and configure required dependencies using their official instructions. Start them before `five_scenes`.

## 3. Database and inventory setup

SQL files included with this resource:

* `INSTALL/scenes.sql`

Import only the file appropriate for your setup, after backing up your database.

If the feature uses inventory items, check the resource's included installation assets and configuration for the appropriate item-registration instructions.

## 4. Add to server.cfg

Add this after its dependencies:

```cfg
ensure five_scenes
```

## 5. Verify

Start the server or restart the resource, then inspect the server console and client F8. Confirm the resource initializes without missing dependency, SQL, or NUI errors.
